The wallpaper page is now closed.

On May 20, 2002, a German vendor was trying to auction on Ebay one of Barbara's wallpapers, and, since my server is unable to prevent people from copying the graphics, I can not have the material in this site used for the benefit of crooks.

I urge all visitors to my site to NOT bid on any wallpapers that might be put up for auction.

Instead of wallpaper, read about what I've done before I bid:

BEFORE YOU BID

Please note neither the Rickmanista Review nor myself receive any compensation related to this site at all. These suggestions are merely a result of my own purchases, and inquiries and comments I have received over the years.

Books: While I'm not a collector of Rickman memorabilia per se, I love books, many books. Before you bid on any books that might come up for auction on ebay, check out http://www.alibris.com. I have purchased several books through them and each time have been very pleased with my purchases (and I'm very picky when it comes to books).

Many books predate the use of ISBN numbers, so you must contact the sellerif you have a specific book in mind. For instance, the Christopher Hampton play of Les Liaisons Dangereuses was first published in 1985; the photographs of the stage production of LLD are copyrighted 1987. If you buy the 1985 edition you are buying the edition with no Rickman photos. Therefore, make sure you ask the seller before you buy.

Used videos and DVDs can be found at http://www.half.com. I have not been disappointed with my finds, but the quality varies.

For theater memorabilia, I suggest you do a google search http://www.google.com on theatrical costumes, used clothing and film props. A few years ago there used to be several sites that carried this type of item (including one that sold Rasputin's shirts) but they have since closed.

I have not looked for a vendor of theatre programmes (this is not an area of particular interest to me since I only collect the ones of performances I've attended) but there might be one out there. Any information on this would be very welcome.

So please, search before you bid. And always contact the seller with any questions you have, before you bid on anything. These are suggestions but you need to have any questions answered by any sellers before you buy anything. It's up to you.

Thank you,
Fausta
